Support Team

Taylor Development’s core support team consists of a small and efficient group of in-house consultants that work directly with the Principals. A snapshot of the work experience of the support team includes the following:

• BAs in the fields of Resource Management, Forest Science, Business Management & Marketing.
• 60+ years of combined day-to-day experience at every stage of the development process.
• 20+ years of property management experience in commercial and residential capacities (ranging from short plats to Class A office complexes).
• Represented the Seattle Master Builders Association on the Seattle/King County Health Technical Advisory Board for 15 years.
• Ownership representation in front of Hearings Examiners, County & City Officials, and Planning Commissions & Boards in nearly every jurisdiction in the Greater Puget Sound.

 

Tanya Jennings
OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Tanya joined Taylor Development, Inc. in 2002.  Starting out as the office manager, Tanya has grown and taken on many tasks and responsibilities over the years leading her to the position of Operations Coordinator today.   She is responsible for and assists with a wide variety of tasks such as forming our new entities, preparing vendor contracts, managing our homeowner’s associations, overseeing the insurance policies of the company and the family, and coordinating our company medical and dental benefits.  Her historical project knowledge and time spent in many positions within the company have made Tanya an invaluable asset to the Taylor team.   Outside of the office Tanya enjoys spending time with her family and reading books.

 

Natalie Cholaj
Controller

Natalie joined Taylor Development, Inc. as their controller in 2018 and is also the controller for all the other Taylor Group family of companies.  She was raised in Spokane, WA, and attended The University of Washington in Seattle where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  Natalie is a Washington licensed Certified Public Account.  She spent the first 10 years of her career specializing in construction, real estate development, and hospitality accounting.  In her current role, she manages the day-to-day bookkeeping, financial statements for the entities, operating cash flow projections, and tax work for the Taylor Family Group.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling around the world and supporting the Seahawks at their away games.

 

April Jones
PROJECT MANAGER

April, a native of the Pacific Northwest, began her career in 1997 working predominantly in commercial property management.  In 2019, after covering for an employee who was on leave, she agreed to join the Taylor team as a member of the land entitlement and development group. April has utilized her talents in organization and attention to critical details, which allowed her to quickly move from project assistant to project manager. April’s positive attitude, coupled with her no-nonsense approach to project management, provides Taylor, its consultants, contractors, and clients with the high-level, quality service that Taylor Development has been known for over the past three decades.

 

BONNIE WILDER
PROPERTY MANAGER

Bonnie joined Taylor Development in 2022.  Bonnie has worked with predominant local development and property management companies since 1997.  With her varied background in real estate and accounting, having worked on both the landlord and tenant side, she provides a unique perspective in managing existing properties slated for future redevelopment.  Bonnie’s emphasis is to provide excellent customer service and interactions with owners, tenants, and vendors on behalf of Taylor Development.
